Human beings are ever evolving, never static, and as such so does my artistic style and my creative endeavours. That is the beauty of being, and creativity.

I celebrate spontaneity, imperfections and the accidental. The end result is never what was intended at the start; and often, there is no set intention to start with. I play with various mediums, embracing the twists and turns and the challenges each of them bring, allowing them to direct my creative journey and projects.

 

The connecting thread to every creative output is a balance between chaos and order, where bold and playful meets delicate and sober, but always fantastical by nature.

I take great inspiration from a variety of sources - from naturally occurring textures and colours; particularly the patterns and palettes found in industrial decay, to more opulent decorative styles found in Islamic and Asian art and textiles, and in contrast, the simpler, angular and geometric style seen in Bauhaus design.
